Yinka Alaseyori reconciles with Tope Alabi after five years of public malice
Nigerian gospel singer, Yinka Alaseyori, seems to have finally reconciled with Tope Alabi after five years of public malice.
DAILY POST recalls that the fight between the two ministers started in June 2021 after Tope Alabi publicly criticised Alaseyori's hit song, Oniduro Mi, meaning my guarantor.
Tope claimed that referring to God as guarantor understates His immense power, noting that God is far greater than a mere guarantor.
Her remarks triggered severe backlash online, especially among the Christians who accused her of jealousy.
After the incident, the two stopped celebrating one another on social media and were never again seen together in public or commenting on each other's posts.
However, in an Instagram post on Tuesday evening, Alaseyori celebrated Tope Alabi's birthday.
Sharing her picture, she wrote, "Happy birthday Ma L/Evang @tope_alabi_ and congratulations on your new age.
"Sufficient grace, strength and mercy we pray for you, ma. Best of God this day and beyond ma."
DAILY POST reports that this came after several reconciliation calls from their fans.
