Tinubu’s 90-Day Action Plan, A Campaign Strategy – YPP Candidate
The presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), Architect Peter Agada, has said nothing will come out of President Bola Tinubu’s 90-day economic plan, describing it as a campaign strategy aimed at deceiving Nigerians to vote for him in the January 16, 2027 presidential election.
Agada in an interview, said he agreed with those who believe that President Tinubu’s economic team has no idea to address Nigeria’s numerous economic challenges.
It would be recalled that the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, after the National Executive Council (NEC), said the council approved a 90-day plan to ease the cost of living.
But the YPP presidential candidate, noted that all President Tinubu’s previous interventions, including the reduction in pump price of petrol, the CNG buses and the removal of illegal levies, have done nothing to ease cost of living of Nigerians.
“Some days later, when he saw that the 17-point plan was not landing with Nigerians, they came up with a 90-day timeline.
“These promises back and forth are for Nigerians to believe and vote them back into office,” Agada stated.
He noted that there are about 85 days to the election, and wondered what happens after the 90-day timeline.
“These guys are playing mind games, and they really think that we are really stupid in this country.
“They have tried everything they could to stop every problem they created, and nothing is working.
“They are already cutting import waivers, and the revenue cost of customs rose to N35 trillion… they are not accounting for that money,” the YPP candidate alleged.
Agada boasted that his economic policy, #LabourDirect Wards-to-Ward development strategy, is the quickest means of empowering Nigerians.
He disclosed that his campaign is creating a dashboard, Labour Direct Information Network, that monitor projects, employment, production, Monitoring & Evaluation, the feedstock, outputs, tax, revenues, from a single application.
“#LabourDirect, the ward-to-ward strategy of my Campaign Council remains an option that can capture all Nigerians within 60 days of implementation.
“If they approach me to cover and implement the 60-day development plan based on my strategy, Nigerians will have more confidence that they have a candidate that can solve their economic problems,” Agada boasted.
