Zamfara: Tinubu’s Re-Election Not Just Politics, Says Yari

The Executive Board Member, Governing Council for City Boy Movement,  and son of Senator Yari, Ahmad Abdulaziz Yari, has insisted that the 2027 re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu should not in any way be considered a normal political game for votes.

Rather, he said it is a struggle for Nigeria’s economy to be more prosperous, good fortune, progress and a favourable outcome for Nigerians.

Yari, who was in Gusau on Saturday to participate in a 5-kilometre road walk in a struggle to garner more support for Tinubu/Shettima, said that for Nigerians to arrive at the position where there is economic stability and comfortable living standards, there is a high need to extend their mandates for President Tinubu to return.

“We do not just ask for winning votes for the incumbent president to be reelected to make him and his political associates happy, but are trying to put the esteemed and eligible voters on a path where they would competently understand how far the administration of President Tinubu has gone in its efforts to address the longstanding Nigerian problems.

“The government of APC had inherited many things already in bad shape; therefore, hence the need to vow on a rescue mission, and no solutions for the obstacles must come overnight, and while asleep without experiencing bitter tastes, the success for redefining narrations for new Nigeria is almost around the corner, let us put hands together to reposition ourselves for better life”, Yari has advocated.

Earlier, the Zamfara State Chairman, Local Organising Committee for City Boy Movement, Surajo Ibrahim Muhammad Birnin Magaji, said Zamfara people are solidly behind the move for Tinubu/Shettima reelection 2027, adding that they only wait for numerous but lucrative projects in the state to be completed.

“We don’t need visits for campaigns as we have been living witnesses that Tinubu’s reelection means good for the people of the state, and the alarming crowd we have seen today to welcome the Executive Board Member City Boy Movement has testified that no vote should be missing for Tinubu/Shettima come the 2027 election”, Birnin Magaji has assured.

In his remarks, the Zamfara State Coordinator, Grassroots Mobilizers for Tinubu/Shettima 2027, Alhaji Muhammad Adamu, said Zamfara should be added to Tinubu/Shettima stronghold states across the country.

“We are confident that President Tinubu is, Insha Allah, going to be reelected by 2027 because, being grassroots mobilizers, the statistics we have shown are that both President Tinubu and his VP, Kashim Ibrahim Shettima, are only waiting for swearing-in for their second term”, Alhaji Adamu said.
